PURPOSE:To provide an auxiliary device for supply of city gas, capable of improving the performance for gas supply to a unit building without exchanging a gas supply inner pipe. CONSTITUTION:This auxiliary device 5 for supply of city gas is set parallelly to a gas supply inner pipe 3 branched from the city gas main branch pipe 1 for supplying city gas to a unit building 9. The auxiliary device 5 for supply of city gas involves an inlet side pipe 11 branched from the supply inner pipe 3, an inlet side valve 13 attached to the inlet side pipe 11, a compressor 15 set on the downstream side from it, a tank 17 for storing pressurized gas, a pressure-reducing valve 19 attached on the downstream side from it, an outlet side pipe 23 joining the gas supply inner pipe set on the downstream side from it and an outlet side valve 21 attached to the outlet side pipe 23. Further, this auxiliary device is equipped with a controller 25 for controlling the compressor 15 and the above-mentioned respective valves according to a gas flow rate signal sent from a gas meter 7 of the gas supply inner pipe 3. Even in the case where the amount of used gas at peak hours is beyond the ability of the gas supply inner pipe, demand of gas can be made up for supplying gas from this auxiliary device for supply of city gas. |
