PURPOSE:To prevent the generation of a sink in the short side surface of a molded product by preliminarily inserting an insert in a place easy to generate a sink. CONSTITUTION:Inserts 2, 3 are preliminarily fitted in the attaching grooves 4c formed to the core mold 4b of a mold 4 of places easy to generate a sink. Next, the inserts 2, 3 are inserted in a molded product molded by the reactive injection molding of dicyclopentadiene. At this time, the distance from the short side surface of the molded product to each of the inserts 2, 3 is set to 2-5mm and, when the wall thickness of the molded product is 5mm or more, the distance from the short side surface at the end surface of each of the inserts to each of the inserts is set so as to be smaller than the thickness of the thick- walled part of the molded product by 3mm to prevent the generation of a sink. |
