<p>PURPOSE:To protect a housed tape cassette against deformation even in a case a peripheral wall deforms with external pressure applied to the peripheral wall of a tape cassette housing case. CONSTITUTION:A tape cassette housing case 1 comprises a case body 2 and a lid 3 for opening/closing the case body 2. The case body 2 is formed of a bottom plate 11 and first to fourth peripheral walls 12 to 15 standing on a periphery of the bottom plate 11, while a cassette housing 16 is formed of these peripheral walls 12 to 15 and the bottom plate 11. Protrusions (spacers) 31 for positioning are provided inside the peripheral walls 12 to 15, and a slit is provided by the protrusions 31 between an outer face of a tape cassette 201 housed in the cassette housing 16 and the peripheral walls 12 to 15 opposite to the outer face. The slit prevents the peripheral walls 12 to 15 from touching the outer face of the tape cassette 201 even if the peripheral walls 12 to 15 deform inward.</p> |
