INK JET RECORDING DEVICE AND INFORMATION PROCESSING SYSTEM

PURPOSE:To control the waste of ink generated because of the oversuction by controlling the suction operation of a suction means for carrying out the suction for a plurality of nozzles in compliance with the given volume existing in a pressure buffer chamber for forming gas spaces carried by pressure waves at the time of jetting ink drops. CONSTITUTION:Ink drops are jetted out of a nozzle opening 5 by forming foams 6 by means of film boiling generated by a jet heater 3 in an ink jet recording head, and ink is fed from an ink tank to a common liquid chamber 9 through a flow path 8 and a tip tank 7. A buffer chamber 13 for keeping gas is formed communicatingly with the common liquid chamber 9, and an opening 11 formed on the buffer chamber 13 is sealed by a sealing material 12 of proper gas permeabiliy. The pinting operation is moved over to a step of suction operation, in the case the lapse of time is judged to be beyond the time of reaching the tolerance limit value of gas volume of buffer to keep the gas amount in the buffer chamber 13 properly.
