PURPOSE:To keep constant cushion stroke by laying two detectors for detecting the close cushion operating position and the open cushion operating position of a piston, outside a cylinder body for making a cushion action start position adjustable. CONSTITUTION:A detection material 38 made of magnetic substance is fitted to a piston 22, and a close cushion operation detector 39 formed out of a proximity switch momentarily closing a circuit upon detection of the passage of the material 38 as well as an open cushion operation detector 40 are laid on the outside of a cylinder body 25. The positions of the detectors 39 and 40 are shiftable in the moving direction of the piston 22. Thus, a cushion action start position can be arbitrarily set by moving and adjusting the positions of the detectors 39 and 40 in the moving direction of the piston 22. According to this construction, even when the inertia force of a door changes, due to the size, weight or the like thereof, the cushion action start position can be kept at an arbitrary constant position, and cushion stroke can be kept constant. |
