PURPOSE:To obtain a refrigerating machine oil for HFC cooling media, excellent in lubricity and highly reliable for a long period by incorporating a tetrafluoroethane in alkylbenzenes containing an alkylbenzene having a specific molecular weight. CONSTITUTION:This refrigerating machine oil is obtained by incorporating a base oil, i.e., alkylbenzenes containing >=60 (pref. 100)wt.% of an alkylbenzene having 200-350 molecular weight, with 0.005-5.0 (pref. 0.01-3.0)wt.%, based on the whole amount of the refrigerating machine oil composition, of a phosphoric ester (e.g. tributyl phosphate, tricresyl phosphate, monobutyl acidphosphate, tris-dichloropropyl phosphate) and 1,1,1,2-tetrafluoroethane (HFC134a). For further improving this machine oil, it is preferable that this oil be blended with an epoxy compound such as a phenyl glycidyl ether-type one. |
