PURPOSE:To reduce a physical burden to a handicapped person and to prevent any accident such as a falling or the like when he takes a bath, by forming a seat part on the upper surface of a rest-like part as well as providing as a different body from a bathtub the rest-like part which extends toward a wash-place in contact with a wall from the corner part at the corner of the bathtub. CONSTITUTION:A rest-like part 8 which extends in contact with a bathroom wall is formed as a different body from a bathtub 6, between a corner part C at which the bathtub wall 4 on wash-place side of a bathtub 6 and the other bathtub wall 5A cross each other and a rest-like part 25 which links to this corner part C and extends to the wash-place 3. A seat part 7 of planar and roughly triangle shape is formed on the upper surface of this rest-like part 8 and this seat part 7 is large enough to enable a seated person to move his legs between the wash-place 3 and the bathtub 6 beyond the wash-place bathtub wall 4 and is formed at the roughly same hight as the upper edge of the bathtub 6. Thereby, the person can move after he is seated on the seat part 7 and thus any accident due to an unstable posture of standing on one leg is prevented. And also this seat part can be used as a chair. |
