RECORDING PAPER AND COATING BASE PAPER

PURPOSE:To obtain an all-around recording paper and coating base paper having sizing properties. CONSTITUTION:This recording paper and coating base paper are obtained by coating at least one side of paper with mixture of a polyvinylamine copolymer as v cationic polymer and a cationic rosin emulsion. The polyvinylamine copolymer has preferably >=50,000 molecular weight and >=20mol% molar ratio of amine. The coated amounts of the polyvinylamine copolymer and the cationic rosin emulsion are >=0.02g/m<2> and >=0.05g/m<2>, respectively.
