PURPOSE:To produce KOBU-CHA (a beverage made from a powdered sea tangle having a slight salty taste), excellent in appearance, taste and flavor and capable of including large amount of ingredients of the sea tangle therein. CONSTITUTION:This KOBU-CHA is produced by mixing 50.0wt.% extract powder of a sea tangle with common salt, saccharides and a seasoning. The extract powder of the sea tangle is a mixture of a powder prepared by neutralizing an extract solution of the sea tangle separated with acetic acid and spray-drying the neutralized extract solution with a powder obtained by neutralizing a water extract of the sea tangle after extraction with the acetic acid and spray-drying the neutralized water extract, common salt and sodium L-glutamate. |
