PURPOSE:To obtain a readily producible food containing Angelica utilis readily edible for any person, capable of totally contributing promotion of health than ever by isolating characteristic smell and taste of Angelica utilis. CONSTITUTION:Fine powder 2 of Angelica utilis is kneaded with a DHA- containing oil 3 to give a viscous material, which is sealed in soft capsules 4 having an egg-shaped granular appearance and being soluble in vivo to constitute a food 1 containing Angelica utilis. Powder obtained by milling leaves, stems and roots of Angelica utilis into a size of about 100-200mum is used as the fine powder 2 of Angelica utilis. A purified oil of a tuna orbit oil having high DHA content is used as the DHA-containing oil 3 and is mixed with an antioxidant. |
