PURPOSE:To enhance reliability in judging trouble by containing a compensating means to compensate influence of a paremeter related to intake air pipe pressure at forced opening-closing time of an EGR (an exhaust gas recirculation control device) valve in a trouble judging means. CONSTITUTION:An EGR control means 301 controls an EGR valve according to information U on an operating condition from various sensors 300, and produces an EGR control signal C to an EGR solenoid 12. A trouble judging condition detecting means 302 detects materialization of a trouble judging condition of the EGR control means 301. An EGR valve forced opening-closing means 303 outputs an EGR control signal Ca to forcedly open and close the EGR valve to the EGR solenoid 12 in response to a trouble judging condition materializing signal FD from the trouble judging condition detecting means 302. A trouble judging means 304 judges trouble of the EGR control means 301 on the basis of intake air pipe pressure at forced opening closing time of the EGR valve. A compensating means 305 compensates influence of a paremeter related to the intake air pipe pressure at forced opening-closing time of the EGR valve. |
