W/O EMULSIFIER COMPOSITION

PURPOSE:To prepare a fine and stable W/O emulsion by means of a simple operation by making the compounding ratio of the total amt. of a fatty acid ester of a polyhydric alcohol and a fatty alcohol ether of a polyhydric alcohol to the polyhydric alcohol at a specified value. CONSTITUTION:In a W/O emulsifier compsn., at least one compd. selected from among fatty acid esters of polyhydric alcohols and fatty alcohol ethers of polyhydric alcohols is incorporated. In this compsn., the compounding ratio (the wt. ratio) of the total amt. of a fatty acid ester of a polyhydric alcohol and a fatty alcohol ether of a polyhydric alcohol to the polyhydric alcohol is 1.0:1.0-1.0:6.0. In addition, it is possible to prepare an extremely stable W/O type emulsion by using this compsn. as an emulsifier. This mechanism is estimated in such a way that a fine and stable W/O emulsion prepd. by forming a gel structure formed of the two or three components on the oil/water interface.
