PURPOSE:To emphasize a solo part sound with simple constitution according to the envelope signal for an accompaniment sound and to give effect with which the solo part stands out by emphasizing a specific frequency band component of a musical sound signal according to the output level of an envelope generator. CONSTITUTION:A filter 1 passes the specific frequency band component of the input musical sound signal to be emphasized. A multiplying means 2 multiplies the signal of the specific frequency band component passed through the filter 1 by a signal based upon the output of the envelope generator of the electronic musical instrument and outputs the result. A mixing means 3 mixes the output of the multiplying means 2 and the input musical sound signal or its deformed signal and outputs the mixed signal. Thus, the signal based upon the envelope generator by which the specific frequency band component to be emphasized is multiplied can properly be selected and set. Consequently, the solo part sound can be emphasized with the simple constitution according to the envelope signal a for accompaniment sound, and the effect with which the solo part stands out can be given. |
