<p>The heat insulating refractory is composed of (A) 40-90 wt% one at least one component selected from silicon or silicate(from silica), calcium or calcium salt(from calcium sulphate), or aluminum or aluminum salt(from alumina), (B) 1.5-30 wt% at least one component selected from vegetable fiber such as cellulose fiber, chemical fiber such as polyacrylonitrile or mineral fiber, (C) 0.1-0.5 wt% hydrogen gas-generating compound such as aluminum powder, zinc powder, and magnesium or calcium carbide, and (D) 3-80 wt% water glass, which is sodium silicate with 1,255-1,710 kg/m3 density at 20 deg.C or potassium silicate with 1,250-1,420 kg/m3 density at 20 deg.C.</p> |
