The removable module comprises a floor (22,24,26), supporting equipment (40,42,44), and is installed in the compartment of a utility vehicle (4) having wheel base (16,18). The module is passed through the rear opening and is slid on the wheel base. The floor has a central longitudinal part (22) with a width almost equal to the wheel base width. There are two longitudinal side parts (24,26) which are pivoted on each side of the central part. The width of the floor sides is such that in their deployed state the floor covers the total surface of the utility compartment. The equipment can slide on rails encastred in the floor perpendicular to the floor length. The equipment is in two assemblies, the first (42,44) slides across a first longitudinal edge (28) of the floor central part and the second (40) slides across the other longitudinal edge (22).
