The envelope or other item of postal stationery is pre-printed with a panel consisting of a grid of numbers or other indicia, arranged in a series of rows and columns corresponding to a postcode format. The indicia may be printed in ink or embossed in relief. The indicia may alternatively take the form of Braille alphabet characters, and the grid may be printed on an adhesive label etc. for attachment to an existing envelope. A user of the envelope selects required letters or numbers by marking them in the grid to indicate e.g. a postcode or other delivery information. |
