The luggage carrier is composed of a retractable carrier (20) on the rear face of the case (10) and a retractable base under the lower face of the case. The retractable carrier comprises a handle (40), and a fixing seat with two holes for the introduction of two external forks which are enclosed by sliding runners. Two internal retractable tubes, located in the external forks, have their upper ends fixed on a handle insertion plate (41). A brake, a connecting rod and a curved retaining lug are located successively in the internal retractable tube. These can be activated so that the internal tube retracts into the external tube. The handle at the top of the retractable carrier is such that activating the handle push button produces an opposite movement on a plane inclined between the lateral and longitudinal handle guides to displace the guide upwards.
