Paint roller with hollow tubular body having protrusions for storing roller

The paint roller has a hollow tubular body (4), and a roller bracket (3). The bearing shaft (9) of the bracket extends at least to the centre of the body, and has a radial circumferential groove (8) near the end. The groove acts with a radial web (7) on the inside (6) of the body. There is a further stop shoulder (14) on body or shaft, to support the shaft. The shaft has a longitudinal slot (11) in the area of the groove, for radial deformation. The bracket consists of bearing shaft, connection web (15), and roller grip (18), and is a one-piece plastics injection moulded part.
