Magnetic nail holding device

The body (1a) has a rectangular cross-section with three pockets into which fit magnetic blocks (2S,1c,1d) each having different strengths. In the sides of the head (2e) there are three grooves any of which accept the nail shank which is then held to the body by the magnetic force. Halfway along the body length is a wall which has a pair of opposing axially projecting flanges (3a,3b). Between the flange underside and the body can be positioned a nail body which is then held. The body can be gripped and the nail struck without the risk of injury to the operator.
