The invention relates to an anisotropically conducting adhesive with particles dispersed in a thermoplastic base material. The particles (20) are finely divided below a percolation threshold and can be deliberately enriched to form anisotropically electrically conductive paths (26), whereby either the particles are electrically conductive or they result in conductivity through the break-up of a complex, migration and reduction where conductive structures are required.
