<p>A turret magazine assembly which provides a constant supply of articles. The problem with turret magazines is that the supply of articles needs to be monitored. The turret magazine indexes a filled tube when a deplated tube is detected. The turret magazine assembly (10) has a plurality of rotatable tubes (21) to dispense articles (27). Each tube (21) is removable and has a gate mechanism (38) at its dispensing end. A control mechanism (29) includes an article flow detector (52, 68) to index a filled tube (21) over a fixed feeding tube (21) when a subsequent tube (21) is detected as being empty of articles (27).</p> |
