The threaded bolt is for use in vehicles, for connecting an electric lead by means of a cable connector (5). The cable connector (5) is fixed to the threaded bolt by means of a securing element (7) and lies on a base surface (4) making contact. The thread (6) in the transition region to the base surface (4) is provided with at least one projection. When the securing element (7) is in its end position, the projection lies in mechanical engagement with the cable connector (5). The projection is preferably formed as a conical ring (8). The engagement between the projection and the cable connector (5) is preferably made while the securing element (7) is being put on.
