The arrangement consists of spring clips (3) which are mounted in the window opening on which V-sectioned channels (4) attached with screws or adhesive. The sections (4) support a channel (6) in which the pane of glass is mounted. The upper flanges (4c) of the U-section, which support the pane, incorporate a rim (4d). A trim section (7) which has a folded back spring-clip section at one side, is clipped over the ridge (4d) of the support channels. The trim section covers the mounting arrangement.
