<p>A separating agent comprising a polysaccharide derivative having a molecular weight distribution of 1 to 3 in terms of Mw/Mn (wherein Mw and Mn represents, respectively, weight-average and number-average molecular weights thereof in terms of polystyrene). A liquid chromatography using this agent as the packing material assures a good base line stability, permits the use of a large variety of solvents as the eluent, and does not cause elution of low-molecular-weight polysaccharide derivatives.</p> |
