Method of producing packaging pieces

The method involves pulling-off a first strip of the inner part of the first roll (2) of wrapping material. The strip leads through the inner part of a second roll (3) of wrapping material from which a second strip is simultaneously pulled. A tube (31) formed from the two strips twisted inside each other is divided into separate packaging pieces. The first strip is twisted before leading through the inner part of the second roll, and the tube pulled out of the second roll is twisted more. While the two strips are being pulled, the winding axes of the two rolls of strips of wrapping material together include an angle between 30 to 120, and esp. 90, degrees. The two rolls are held by supports on a mobile frame (1) which incorporates a cutter (4).
