Unitised construction system with standard parts for steam turbine

The system uses a standard housing (1) and a low pressure housing (12) which is to be attached to the standard housing. Both housings are so formed that the low pressure housing can be assembled in various positions. In particular the exhaust steam ports (13) can lie above or below according to choice. Two variants of the low pressure housing are available, of which one permits the construction of a counter pressure turbine (12a) and the other the construction of a condensation turbine (12b). The standard housing is a turbine housing produced as a casting.
