The method removes the build up from crushing in the roller clearance of a high-pressure roll press. The composite (16) is moved continuously over a tip chute (10), which is periodically knocked upwards from below by a partly mobile counterweight (17) which is suspended with some yield in the suspension. As the composite material passes through the through clearance between the tip chute and the counter-weight, it is broken up by pressure and abrasion, and is thus de-agglomerated. Additional impact energy may be supplied to the tip chute and/or the counterweight. The feed through the clearance may be by gravity or by feed motion.
