PURPOSE:To estimate the spectrum of the received signal with a simple calculation. CONSTITUTION:The average frequency f<-> and dispersion sigma<2> obtained by the normal Doppler calculation are fed to a spectrum estimation arithmetic unit 38. The average power per unit time of the received signal is calculated by an average power arithmetic unit 36, and it is fed to the spectrum estimation arithmetic unit 38. The spectrum estimation arithmetic unit 38 assumes that the spectrum of the received signal conforms to Gaussian distribution and estimates the spectrum P(f) from the dispersion sigma<2>, average frequency f<->, and average power x<2->. |
