The sensor uses a hollow body (15), applied to the outside of the cooling body (10) on which the frozen liquid layer is deposited and containing an expansion fluid (20). A sensor element (19) for detection of the expansion or pressure of the latter is incorporated within, or applied to, the hollow body. Pref. the sensor has an elongate hollow body applied to the cooling element at one end face, its overall length being greater than the max thickness of the frozen liquid layer, with the sensor element pref. provided at its outer end. <IMAGE> |
