PURPOSE:To prevent the efficiency of power generation from being decreased by a means for boosting the pressure of reformed gas by providing a steam ejector in a desulfurizing recycling gas line, and supplying the steam of a steam separator to the steam ejector. CONSTITUTION:A steam ejector 10 provided in a desulfurizing recycling line 11 is supplied with steam from a steam separator 3 that generates steam by means of heat generated by a fuel cell 7. With the steam as a drive source, part of reformed gas produced by a reformer 4 has its pressure boosted, is mixed with the steam, and supplied to a region upstream of a desulfurizer 1. During power generation, therefore, part of the reformed gas downstream of a CO converter 6 has its pressure bosted by the steam ejector 10 and can be recycled to the region upstream of the desulfurizer 1, so the need for a boosting blower is eliminated, auxiliary machine power is thus reduced, and the efficiency of power generation can be prevented from decreasing. In addition, a cooler and a steam separator are preferably provided between the steam ejector 10 and the region upstream of the desulfurizer 1 so that the water content of the mixed fluids of the reformed gas and raw material is kept small. |
