<p>PURPOSE:To suppress the occurrence of disturbance of a velocity of flow of intake air through installation of a communication passage and to perform treatment of oil without damaging the inertia effect of intake air, in the intake device of an internal combustion engine constituted to cause outflow of oil, introduced in a surge tank, to a part, ranging between the bottom of the surge tank and an intake port, of an intake branch pipe through a communication passage. CONSTITUTION:To ensure the substantial length of an intake branch pipe, an intake branch pipe 10-4 is arranged in such a state to protrude in a surge tank 12. A communication passage 16-4 is installed to cause outflow of oil, guided to in the surge tank 12 and residing at a bottom, to the intermediate part of the intake branch pipe 10-4. The opening position of the communication passage 16-4 is set to the node part of columnar resonance generated in the intake branch pipe 10-4 in such a state that a high output is required at an internal combustion engine.</p> |
