PURPOSE:To suppress eccentric wear and improve skid resistance by dividing land sections by tilted grooves of at least four kinds of pitch variations and forming a pitch adjacent to arbitrary pitch into a predetermined relation. CONSTITUTION:Tilted grooves 7 on the right and left sides which tilt a tread 5 toward equatorial plane O at the center from both ends E and extend in the shape of character V are arranged on periphery of the tread 5 by applying a variation by the use of at least four kinds of pitches P1-P4 having different length, wherein P1<P2<P3<P4, to divide land sections. In this case, pitch Pj adjacent to arbitrary pitch Pi among the arranged pitches should satisfy the relationship of i-2<=j<=i+2, wherein j is a pitch number i can take. Consequently, it is possible to suppress eccentric wear and make a pneumatic radial tire advantageous for water drain property. |
