PURPOSE:To allow a device to apply optimum color processing even under different environments to different recorded media and to obtain a color image balanced well in the color. CONSTITUTION:An ambient temperature of an ink jet head is sensed by a temperature sensor TH, a type of recording paper is sensed by a sensor unit, and a fuzzy deduction section 82 conducts fuzzy inference by using a membership function defined by both sensing outputs. Gains of gain control circuits 38, 39, 40 or color correction coefficients of a color matrix circuit 37 are controlled. |
