<p>PURPOSE:To provide wet type desulfuration method in which the size of sprayed particles of an absorbent in an absorption tower is optimized to improve the desulfuration capacity and to make an apparatus compact as a whole. CONSTITUTION:In a wet type exhaust gas desulfuration method in which exhaust gas 24 containing sulfur oxide introduced into a desulfuration tower 1 is sprayed with a calcium-base absorbent from a spray nozzle 4 so that the sulfur oxide in the exhaust gas is absorbed, the absorbent liquid is sent to a circulating tank 6, in which air is introduced into the liquid from an air blowing pipe 8 to produce gypsum, and the liquid in the tank 6 is circulated to the spray nozzle, the average diameter of the sprayed particles from the nozzle is adjusted to be 2.7mm or more, which is larger than usual. The distance between the injection openings of the nozzle is made 0.25-1.1m to generate collision and interference between sprayed particles, and the particle size is made 1.4-2.2mm.</p> |
