<p>PURPOSE:To safely and surely fasten the arms or legs of a patient to a bed by sewing Velcro tapes to opposite end parts of a belt formed by sewing seatbelt cloths together in part, and by fixing the attached felt side of the belt to the skins of the arms or legs of the patient while fixing the other side of the belt to a bed or a bed fence. CONSTITUTION:A safety fastening belt body is fabricated by sewing seatbelt cloths 1 having, for example a length of 69.0cm and a width of 5.0cm, together. Further, Velcro tapes 2 are sewn to both end parts of the belt and a felt 3 is applied to the belt body in a part adapted to make contact with the skin of a patient so as to prevent the skin from being damaged. During use, the attached felt side of the belt body is fixed to the skins of the arms or legs of the patient while the other side of the belt body is fixed to a bed or a bed fence. Thereby it is possible to safely and surely fasten the arms or legs of the patient.</p> |
