PURPOSE:To improve grip performance at the time of cornering without reducing traction performance by specifying the sum of the length of tilted edge tilted at a predetermined angle in the peripheral direction among oblique direction edges in its direction and the length of peripheral direction edge to a specific ratio of the total of the length of block formation total edge in the whole region of tread. CONSTITUTION:Blocks A-E which have a tread pattern having a negative rate of 40-55% are formed by oblique direction edges and peripheral direction edges and/or radial direction edges. The sum of the length of edge in the direction of 65 degrees which tilts at angles of 57-73 degrees for peripheral direction among oblique direction edges and the length of peripheral direction edge is 90-100% of the total of the length of all edges forming the blocks A-E. Consequently, it is possible to improve side grip performance at the time of cornering without reducing traction performance when a vehicle runs straight at high speed off road and realize excellent wear resistance. |
