PURPOSE:To mold integrally a thick, large plastic foamed body without purposely heating and raising the temperature by inserting foamable compound sheets into a foaming mold, foaming therein, releasing a foamed body immediately, inserting the same into another molding die and embossing. CONSTITUTION:Approximately 10-20 foamed compound sheets composed of polyolefin resin or the like are inserted into a foaming mold, heated and pressurized to a given temperature, for instance, 150-180 deg.C to prepare a polyolefin resin foamed body. Then the foamed body is released immediately from the foaming mold, and a foamed body of its surface temperature of approximately 80-100 deg.C and its internal temperature of approximately 170 deg.C is inserted into a molding die, and a given protruded mold is placed on, and pressed by the given pressure for the given time by a press. |
