PURPOSE:To provide a method of and a device for manufacturing tablets which are excellent in solubility and decayability, which can be easily taken by an old person or an infant, and which has a high mechanical strength, a high accuracy, a high quality and a high productivity. CONSTITUTION:An additive such an excipient or a binder is added to drug component powder, and further a wetting agent such as a water or ethanol is added thereto before it is kneaded, thereby a wetted powder material is obtained. The wetted powder material which has been press-fed into a mold hole 7 in a second table 3 through a feed hole in a first table, is chamfered and formed by an upper frame 23 and a lower frame 24 through the intermediary of a sticking preventing film 25 which is applied with a tension by means of pretension devices 28, 29 so as to be easily peeled off from the wetted powder, and which is also coated over the wetted powder side surface thereof with a mold release agent by means of a mold release agent applying device 15. |
