PURPOSE:To obtain a frozen food for a fried food of a new shape by wrapping a solid food ingredient making the most of taste, texture and flavor which an ingredient essentially has in a cream layer and attaching coating such as bread crumb to the outside of the cream layer. CONSTITUTION:This frozen food for a fried food has an ingredient 1 at the center of the cream layer 2. The frozen food has a three layer structure comprising an ingredient 1 at the center, a relatively thick cream layer 2 covering the ingredient 1 and a coating layer 3 covering the cream layer 2. The ingredient retains an appearance and a shape. The coating layer contains at least bread crumb. The ingredient is arranged at the center and then frozen. The coating layer is formed around the frozen ingredient and frozen to provide a method for producing the frozen food for the fried food. A given amount of cream is put in a mold, the ingredient is placed on the cream, a fixed amount of cream placed on the ingredient and the cream is arranged at the center.
