<p>PURPOSE:To easily and a correctly read a bar code at the time of using a bar code reader of single scan by reading the bar code added to a tube during movement of a rack from a temporary stop position to the next temporary stop position. CONSTITUTION:When read of the bar code on a tube 32 is indicated, a stop position A1 of the front end part of a rack 34 is moved to a read position 36a of a bar code reader 36 and is temporarily stopped. The bar code reader 36 starts to read the bar code simultaneously with stop of the rack 34. After the start of read, the rack 34 is moved until a stop position A2 between tubes 32-1 and 32-2 comes to the front of the read position 36a. When the stop position A2 and the read position 36a coincide with each other, movement of the rack 34 is temporarily stopped. After it is confirmed that the stop position A2 is moved to the prescribed position, the bar code reader 36 terminates the bar code read operation.</p> |
