PURPOSE: To provide a manufacture of an electromagnetic inductor which produces a rotating or sliding moving magnetic field. CONSTITUTION: An excitation coil fitted onto each magnetic pole piece 12 must be fixed to the circumference of a tubular coil support, so as to form an annular coil block 32 in advance. Then the block is fitted onto the magnetic pole piece 12 and locked there reversibly. This is applied especially for the continuous casting of steel articles.
