METHOD AND JIG FOR COOLIING PLASTIC POLYGON MIRROR

摘要

PURPOSE:To cool a plastic polygon mirror without generating a non-uniform shrink deformation caused by internal stress by relaxing the internal stress in the vicinity of the surface layer of the optical surface of the plastic polygon mirror. CONSTITUTION:A core surface having an optical mirror surface heated to the thermal deformation temp. of the constitutional material of a plastic polygon mirror or higher is brought into contact with the optical surface 2 of the plastic polygon mirror molded from plastic for a definite time and compression force is applied to the whole before the plastic polygon mirror is cooled.
