PURPOSE:To reduce the size and cost and to obviate the generation of an exposure history in spite of printing in a high-speed process by using a photoreceptor consisting of arsenic try triselenide as a base material for a photoreceptor and adopting a semiconductor laser or LED for an optical system. CONSTITUTION:The semiconductor laser or LED having a light wavelength of >=620nm is used for a destaticizing light source (erasing lamp) in the printing process using light of a red system of a light wavelength of >=660nm as a writing light source and using the photoreceptor consisting of the arsenic triselenide as the base material for the photoreceptor. In addition, the drum potential just before the erasing lamp is controlled to >=-100V by impressing a DC bias on an AC destaticizer or a cleaning brush of a cleaning device 5, by which the exposure history is prevented and eventually the cost and size of the optical parts are reduced. |
