PURPOSE:To provide a coaxial plug connector to which a coaxial cable can easily be connected and which can reduce the number of part items while being excellent in strength. CONSTITUTION:A simple crimping portion 21 is joined to the shell 20 of a plug external conductor 2 via a gutter-shaped neck 22, and a dielectric substance 52 exposed at one end of a coaxial cable 5 is protected by the neck 22. Contact pieces 25, 26 provided to the simple crimping portion 21 break through the sheath 50 of the coaxial cable 5 and come into contact with the external conductor braid 51 of the coaxial cable 5. A slot 34 is provided in a plug internal contact 3, and the dielectric substance 52 is cut apart by the slot 34 and brought into contact with a central conductor 53. |
