PURPOSE:To specify the merchandise to be processed by a merchandise specifying means, to make an effective stocktaking in the sales field by a person in change of sales and to execute merchandise contral of analyzing and grasping the merchandise soluble and left unsold, and lay in stock or the like. CONSTITUTION:The POS system consists of a POS terminal equipment 24a, storage device 28 storing the master data and sales data on the merchandise, carrier scanner 34a, computer 20 connected to the POS terminal equipment 24a and the storage device 28, input means inputting the data or the required direction to the computer 20, and output means 30a outputting the processing result by the computer 20. The merchandise code stored in the storage device 28 is taken in the computer 20 and the sales data or the master data corresponding to the merchandise code are taken from the storage device 28. Based on the direction from the input means, the acquired sales data or master data are processed and are outputted to the output means 30a. |
