PURPOSE:To obtain a gasket for a vehicle window characterized by that air resistance is reduced by forming a flash surface in an upper part and the deterioration of the visual field of a side window caused by the lateral flow of rainwater is prevented by forming a water receiving part in a side part and the formation of the attaching guide to a window plate is easy and a car body panel is facilitated, reduced in the number of parts and excellent in decorative properties. CONSTITUTION:An upper part 5U different in cross-sectional shape, an upper corner part, a side part 5S, a lower corner part and a lower part 5L are integrally formed and a car outside holding part 12 forms a first cross-sectional surface part forming a flash part 17 substantially in the upper part 5U and forms a second crosssectional surface part forming a water receiving part 18 for cutting off the flow of water from a window plate 4 in the side part 5S.. Therefore, a gasket for a vehicle window having a stripe material substantially non- extensible or extensible in a foreknowable degree for guiding the attachment to the window plate 4 or a car body panel integrated therewith in a releasable state is obtained. |
