PURPOSE:To provide an apparatus rack provided with a section to treat the excess portion of an optical cable, wherein electric apparatus, such as communication apparatuses, are mounted, wherein the cable is wired, and wherein a larger number of apparatus installation sections are ensured, by moving a convection guiding plate from its original position to another position and securing it there to minimize a space required for treating the excess portion of the cable when doing the work. CONSTITUTION:An apparatus rack 10 is provided with a mechanism (e.g. holding or locking mechanism) to put a convection guiding plate 15 close to apparatus installation sections 13-1, 13-2 and support it almost in the horizontal position when treating the excess portion of an optical cable. Or, the convection induction plate 15 is modified, and the apparatus rack 10 is provided with the modified convection induction plate 15. |
