PURPOSE:To reduce the thickness and size of the above satchel and to improve the feeling of use by providing this satchel with a pair of metallic sheet levers which are freely turnably supported near their bottom ends by a pair of supporting parts disposed in the lower part of a thin box body and are provided with connecting ring holding parts at the top ends projecting to the upper side of the aperture of the box body and springs for energizing these levers. CONSTITUTION:A pair of the right and left levers 4, 4 are housed in the box body 3 consisting of a front member 1 and rear member 2 made of metallic sheets. These levers are energized toward the center by the springs 5, 5 and are hung by hanging rings 7. The levers 4 freely turnably hold the connecting rings 30 by the cylindrical connecting ring holding parts 28 and are provided with leg parts 29 in the lower parts thereof. The bottom ends of the leg parts 29 are provided with communicating holes 31 for passing the cylindrical part 15 of the front member 1 and the cylindrical part 18 of the rear member 2 and are provided with projections 32 engaging with the springs 5 on the outer side. The levers 4 turn around the pins 13 for connection when force to spread the connecting rings 30 to the right and left is acted. In such a case, the small box body 3 and levers 4 suffice and, therefore, sufficient rigidity and strength are obtainable even with the thin metallic sheets. |
