PURPOSE:To provide a waterdrop removing device capable of efficiently and satisfactorily removing the waterdrops stuck to a specimen after it is observed with an ultrasonic microscope, having a simple and inexpensive structure, and requiring no labor for maintenance. CONSTITUTION:Linear hollow pipes having a circular cross section are sealed by plugs 37 at one end, and they are connected to gas feed pipes 36 via junctions 35 at the other end. Fine openings 34 are provided at uniform intervals on the straight lines in parallel with the axes of the pipes on the side faces of the hollow pipes, and gas is fed from the gas feed pipes 36 and jetted. The hollow pipes are arranged at the prescribed distances from a specimen stuck with waterdrops after it is observed with an ultrasonic microscope so that the jetted gas uniformly collides with the specimen, and the specimen is moved relatively to the hollow pipes. |
