PURPOSE:To guide a vehicle along a route for visiting around many expected places in order by a simple operation. CONSTITUTION:When the name of the visiting place and the estimated visiting time are inputted by a control part 3, a schedule recording and drawing part 14 stores it in a schedule storage part 13. An optimal route searching part 15 reads out the position of each visiting place whose visiting time is the same date with the present time counted by a timer 5 and is after the present time from an IC memory card 4 from among the ones stored in the storage part 13. With the map data of a CD-ROM 1, the optimal route which connects the positions of the visiting place, is searched in a batch and it is stored in a guiding route storage part 16. A map picture drawing part 12 inputs the vehicle position from a GPS receiver 2. With the map data, the map picture including the vehicle position is displayed on a video RAM 17. With the guiding route data of the storage part 16, the guiding route is drawn on the map picture and the vehicle position mark is also drawn. The picture of a video RAM 17 is read by a video conversion part 18 and it is converted into the prescribed video signal and is outputted to a display device 6. Then it is displayed on a picture. |
